Nexera Contracts for the 2010 - 2011 growing season.
Bunge Canada in conjunction with DowAgroSciences offers a unique marketing opportunity. Nexera Canola produces a canola oil that is increasingly in demand around the world for its many healthy benefits and stability characteristics. The High Oleic Canola Oil is low in saturated fat and has the added benefit of higher levels of monounsaturated fat and contains No Trans Fat.
HEALTH BONUS ( Premium )
* A Base Health Bonus ( Premium ) along with Freight Incentives (or Free Farm Pickup) will be paid for varieties in the, Nex 845, NX4 CL series and NX4 RR series.
* To qualify for the premium, the delivered crop must not exceed 3% Linolenic Acid and have a minimum 70% Oleic Acid
RETURNING GROWERS BONUS
* $5/mt (paid by Bunge upon completion of Nexera crop

AGRONOMICS*
*Good agronomic practice and strict segregation of the crop is essential.
* Total production from contracted acres including grades 1CC, 2CC, 3CC delivered to Bunge Canada, Nipawin Saskatchewan, Altona Manitoba or Fort Saskatchewan + (Freight Incentives).
* Bunge's Nexera Grade Discount Schedule for the 2010-2011crop year.
********Regular Bunge Canada Canola Discounts Apply to Nexera.
* The varieties to be planted are from the Nexera 845, Nexera 104 RR, Nexera 105 RR and New Nexera Varieties.
* Only certified seed can be planted.
* Certified seed must be purchased from designated Bunge Nexera seed retailers.
* Growers should seed at thier optimum seeding rate for good stand establishment. Bunge recomends a rate of 5.5 pounds per acre (1 bag of seed for 10 acres).
* The grower must prior to June 15th, 2010 return to the point of purchase all unopened bags of certified seed.
* The grower must plant or destroy any certified seed in opened bags prior to June 15th, 2010.
PRICING & DELIVERY GUIDELINES
* Growers must select from the following delivery periods (minnimum of 2 delivery periods mus be selected) and corresponding basis levels for their entire crop
* Delivery of all 100% Nexera production will be complete by August 31st, 2011.
*Within each delivery period, Bunge will determine delivery dates at "Buyers Call"
* The delivery period for production over 30 bushels per acre will be at Bunge's call:
* Bunge Canada offers 2 pricing options.
* OPTION 1. Grower will be gauranteed the quoted basis levels on delivey months they select

FREIGHT ASSISTANCE
The grower may elect to have Bunge Canada help arrange the pickup of their Nexera production or may deliver to Bunge Canada and receive the specified freight assistance.
GRADE BLENDING
Bunge Canada offers a GRADE Blending program which allows a producer to blend his own Nexera production to his benefit.

ACT of GOD
In the event Nexera production acres are lost due to "Act of God" (hail, flood,wind, etc.) Bunge Canada will cover futures buyback costs/gains of priced contract on the first 10 bu/ac.
QUESTIONNAIRES
Bunge Canada will request growers to complete accurate information on the quantity and locations of acres seeded and return a Spring Questionnaire to Bunge. The grower must also complete and return a Fall Questionnaire upon completion of Harvest.
HARVEST SAMPLES
Contract growers are required to submit an average representative sample of the crop upon completion of Harvest. Sample envelopes will be provided. Failure to complete questionnaires and submit samples will result in delays for delivery opportunity
